How to Use Screen Sharing to Share Computer Sound on Zoom for Windows or Mac

To share computer audio during a Zoom call, you need to open the app and start a new meeting. You don’t need other members to start sharing your computer audio on Zoom. This can be easily set up before anyone else joins using Zoom’s screen sharing feature. The steps to use this feature are similar to Zoom for Windows and Mac.

Once you’ve started a new Zoom meeting, click the green Share Screen button on the meeting toolbar, located in the bottom half of the window. As the name suggests, this is used for screen sharing in Zoom, but you need to enable a different option every time you want to share your computer audio.

You can now check the box next to the Share Audio button in the bottom left corner of the window. This ensures that the audio from your computer is unmuted when you share your screen. Select the app you want to share audio from, and when you’re ready to start posting, click the blue Share button in the bottom right corner of that window.

How to Adjust the Sound Quality of Audio Shared Using Screen Sharing

Zoom allows you to share computer audio in mono and stereo quality. Because the Zoom app optimizes its settings to conserve bandwidth, screen sharing audio is mono by default. If you don’t like it, you can share the higher quality audio with your Zoom meeting participants.

To do this, start a Zoom meeting and click the Share Screen button. This will open a screen sharing window where you can select the tiny down arrow next to the Share Audio button. You will see a drop down menu with two options. To share higher quality audio from your computer, select Stereo (high quality). Check the box next to the Share Audio button to enable sharing computer audio to Zoom.

When you click the Share button to start screen sharing, meeting participants can enjoy listening to music or other audio in stereo quality.

How to Share Audio From a YouTube Video on Zoom

When you use Zoom for teaching or presentation, you may want to consider watching YouTube videos with your audience. You can easily do this by combining screen sharing with Zoom’s audio sharing feature.

To do this, firstly, you must open a YouTube video on your computer. If you have a video open in a browser, make sure the active tab has the video you want to show using screen sharing. If it’s open in a background tab, you’ll have to make an extra click while screen sharing to open the video. This can be avoided by keeping the video in the foreground at the very beginning.

Then open Zoom, start a new meeting, and click the Share Screen button. When you see the screen sharing window, select the YouTube video from the list of tiles and check the “Share audio” box.

Finally, you can click the Share button to start watching YouTube videos with your Zoom audience via screen sharing. The video will start as soon as you hit the play button on YouTube.

How to Share Audio From Spotify on Zoom Via Screen Sharing

A relaxing instrumental song can act as a nice filler when you’re waiting for some attendees to join a meeting, or when you’re taking a short break during a long Zoom meeting. You can also use the Screen Sharing feature to share Zoom audio via Spotify.

To do this, open Spotify on your computer and find the song you want to play. You can then start a Zoom meeting, click the Share Screen button, and select Spotify from the list of tiles. Don’t forget to check the “Share Audio” button in the bottom left corner, and then click the “Share” button in the bottom right corner to start screen sharing.

Finally, you can click the play button on Spotify on your computer to share the song via Zoom.

How To Share Audio on Zoom for iPhone and iPad

You can also use Zoom’s screen sharing feature to share audio from your iPhone or iPad. This is pretty easy to enable because the moment you start sharing your screen, the sound of your Apple device is automatically broadcast to those who are in the Zoom meeting.

So, just start a new meeting in Zoom for iOS or iPadOS and hit the green Share button. You can select “Screen” from the list of options and then click “Start Broadcast” to start screen sharing with Zoom for iPhone or iPad. When you do this, you’ll see a blue button that says Device Audio Sharing: On, which means you’re sharing Zoom audio from your iPhone or iPad.

1. Add Bookmarks the Easy Way

You can bookmark a page in Firefox in several ways. Use any of the following methods that are most convenient for you.

Select the star icon in the address bar.Choose Bookmarks from the menu and choose Bookmark Current Tab or Bookmark All Tabs. Use the keyboard. keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + D on Windows or Command + Shift + D on Mac.

After using one of these methods, you can customize the name, select the location, and optionally add a tag. When you’re done, select Save.

2. See All of Your Bookmarks

If you want to search for a specific bookmark, enter a keyword in the Search Bookmarks box at the top of the library.

4. Organize Firefox Bookmarks Using Folders

You can add folders and subfolders to keep related bookmarks together for quick access. For example, you might have folders for news, timers, games, or recipes.

You can then select a folder as the location when adding a new bookmark or dragging an existing site to the Bookmarks folder in the library.

5. Put Your Bookmarks in the Right Order

When you open the Library window, you can arrange your bookmarks by changing their order. This will help you find the ones you use the most by putting them at the top of the list and the ones you rarely use at the bottom.

To reorder bookmarks, select and drag one of them up or down to a new position. In the same way, you can change the order of the folders on the left sidebar or in the list on the right.

6. Section Bookmarks Using Separators

Dividers are horizontal lines that separate bookmarks when they are displayed. They can be handy for grouping bookmarks into sections.

Select the location or folder where you want to add the separator.Select Organize (gear icon on Mac) and select Add Separator.

Move the separator to the desired position by dragging it up or down.

To remove the separator later, open the library window, right-click the separator and select Delete.

7. Give Your Bookmarks Meaningful Names

When you bookmark a web page, you cannot change the default display name. In some cases, the name may be long or simply unrecognizable. Luckily, you can rename the bookmark to something more meaningful to you.

Select a location in the Library sidebar, and then select the bookmark on the right. You will see the Name field. Replace the existing text with the name you prefer.

8. Use Tags to Categorize Bookmarks

Similar to flagging or labeling emails, you can bookmark bookmarks to categorize them. This is useful if you don’t want to create a folder for related bookmarks, or if you want to apply the same tag to bookmarks that are in different folders.

As an example, let’s say you have folders for Google Apps and Microsoft Apps. You can apply the spreadsheet tag to Google Sheets in the first folder and Excel in the second. You can then view both bookmarks in your list using the tag.

Apply the tag when you first bookmark the page by typing it in the Tags field or by selecting an existing tag from the drop-down list.

In addition, you can apply a tag to a bookmark in a library. Select the bookmark on the right, and then enter a tag in the Tags field or select it from the drop-down menu.

To use a tag, type it into the address bar and view the results below, or select the Tags category from the left sidebar in the library.

To remove a tag from the library, right-click it and select “Delete”.

9. Include Keywords for Fast Access

An alternative to using tags in Firefox is to use keywords. You can enter them as tags when adding a bookmark or in a library. Just enter a keyword or phrase in the Keywords field.

To use a keyword, enter it in the address bar. You should then see results for the bookmarks you have using that keyword.

10. Remove Unused Bookmarks

How many bookmarks have you added that you only used once or twice, or even for a short period of time? Soon you will have more bookmarks than you use, rendering this feature useless.

You can easily delete bookmarks that you no longer need. Select a location on the left to display bookmarks on the right. Right-click the bookmark and select Delete Bookmark.

If you want to delete the entire folder and its contents, right-click and select “Delete Folder” from the left sidebar or the list on the right.

The Notes app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac makes it easy to share notes in the form of a link via iCloud. It also allows you to collaborate on your notes with other people in real time. But if you prefer to share your notes as a file, the best way to ensure compatibility is to convert them to the universal PDF (Portable Document) format.

If you use Apple Notes on iPhone and iPad, there are a few relatively simple methods you can use to create PDFs from your notes. On Mac, the Notes app includes a dedicated PDF export feature that makes working even more accessible. In this tutorial, you will walk through each method step by step on your Apple device.

Markup and Save Notes to PDF on iPhone and iPad

The fastest way to convert a note in Apple Notes to PDF on iPhone and iPad is to open the markup screen. You can then save the file anywhere in the Files app, with or without annotations.

Note. In rare cases, saving a note containing text and images using markup can result in a PNG image file being generated. In this case, use the following method to print your note as a PDF.

1. Open the Notes app on iPhone or iPad and select the note you want to convert.

2. Tap the More icon (horizontal ellipsis) in the upper right corner of the screen. If the note is in a third-party account (such as Outlook or Gmail), tap the Share icon (the box with an arrow coming out of the top) instead.

3. Click Send a Copy.

4. Tap Markup to open the Markup screen on your iOS or iPadOS device.

Advice. Click “Save to Files” if you want to save the note as a TXT text file in the Files app.

5. Use the markup tools at the bottom of the screen – pen, pencil, highlighter, etc. – to annotate the note. On iPad, you can use your Apple Pencil to annotate. Continue to the next step if you don’t want to add anything to the note.

6. Click “Done” in the upper left corner of the screen.

7. Click Save File To.

8. Select a location in the Files app, such as On My iPhone/iPad. Then select an existing folder or click the New Folder button (in the upper right corner of the screen) to create a new folder.

9. Leave the default note name unchanged or double-tap to rename it.

10. Click “Save” to convert the note to a PDF file.

That’s all! Open the Files app and navigate to the location of the converted PDF note. Then press and hold the file icon and tap Share to share the note via Mail, Messages, AirDrop, and more. You also have access to a lot of other options. For example, you can rename the file, move it to a different directory, compress the PDF file as a ZIP file, etc.

Print Notes to PDF Format on iPhone and iPad

If you’re having trouble converting an Apple note to PDF using the method above (this can happen if the note contains a mix of text and images), you can use the “hidden” PDF printer on iPhone and iPad to “print” the note . in PDF. You can then save it to the Files app.

1. Open the Notes app and select the note you want to convert.

2. Touch the More icon. If the note is on a third-party account, click the Share button instead.

If you’re using the Apple Notes app on your Mac, you can quickly convert any note to PDF using the Export to PDF feature built into macOS.

1. Open the Notes app on Mac and select the note you want to convert from the sidebar. Or double-click a note to open it in a new window.

Note. You cannot convert multiple notes to PDF at the same time.

2. Select File from the menu bar. Then select Export as PDF from the drop-down menu.

3. Leave the default note name as is, or change it in the Save As field. Then select Save to convert and export the note as a PDF document.

You should find the converted PDF note in the location you specified on your Mac. Control-click a file and choose Share to share it with an app like Mail or Messages. Or double-click to annotate and edit the PDF in Preview.

Can You Convert Apple Notes to PDF on Windows and Android?

Apple Notes is available as the iCloud.com web app for Windows and Android. However, it does not provide any built-in tools for converting notes to PDF. Trying to use your web browser’s PDF printer will also fail. The only option is to manually copy the contents of the note to a third-party PDF writer or printer, and then save everything as a PDF.

There are many reasons to download your videos from Twitch, such as keeping offline backups or uploading them to different streaming platforms. Twitch makes it easy to download past broadcasts from the VOD (video on demand) archive of your Twitch account.

But before you can do that, you must set Twitch to save your videos after you’ve finished streaming them. So, in this guide, you will learn what you need to do to activate video on demand for your creator account, and then download the broadcasts to your computer or mobile device.

Activate Video On Demand in Twitch

You can enable video-on-demand (VOD) on Twitch through the Twitch streamer toolbar, but this is only possible if you’re using a web browser. You cannot use the Twitch desktop or mobile apps to enable VOD.

1. Type twitch.tv into the address bar of any web browser on your Mac or PC to visit the Twitch website. If you only have access to an iPhone or Android smartphone, be sure to activate the PC version of the site via the browser menu after it has finished downloading.

2. Sign in to your Twitch account.

3. Select your Twitch profile icon in the top right corner of your browser tab. Then select “Authors Panel” from the drop-down menu.

4. Select “Settings” in the Twitch sidebar to access your channel’s settings. Then select Stream.

5. Scroll down to the “VOD settings” section and turn on the switch next to “Keep past broadcasts”. This will also enable the “Always Post VOD” feature – turn it off if you don’t want Twitch to post broadcasts without your permission, or exclude certain VOD categories using the “Exclude Categories” list.

Note. Twitch will only store your videos for 14 days. However, if you are a Twitch Partner or a Twitch Prime or Turbo user, your videos may be kept for 60 days. Don’t forget to download the videos before they expire.

Download Videos on Windows and macOS

Now that you’ve activated the Video on Demand feature, you can start saving your live sessions as soon as they end. However, Twitch only provides native support for VOD downloads on Mac and PC desktop browsers.

Note. While you can download twitch.tv in desktop mode on iPhone and Android, you won’t be able to download videos on demand. Instead, use a third-party Twitch downloader (more on that below).

1. Open the Twitch web app on your Mac or PC.

2. Select your Twitch avatar in the top right corner of the screen and select Video Producer.

3. Set the video filter to Past broadcasts.

4. Click the More icon (three dots) next to the Twitch stream you want to download.

5. Click the Download button.

Tip: If you want to download the broadcast to YouTube, you can do it directly without downloading the video to your computer. Simply select the “Export” option from the drop-down menu, sign in with your YouTube account and select “Upload”.

6. Wait while Twitch prepares and downloads the video to your computer.

The download time of a video depends on its length and the speed of your internet connection. After that, check your browser’s download manager or Downloads folder on Mac or PC.

Download Videos on Android & iOS

The Twitch app for Android and iOS does not offer the ability to download Twitch VODs. The desktop version of the Twitch web app also doesn’t let you do this.

However, you can get the Twitch VOD URL using the mobile app and download it using unTwitch.com (Third Party Web Downloader for iPhone) or Video Downloader for Twitch (Third Party Android App).

Get Twitch VOD URL

1. Open Twitch on your iPhone or Android.

2. Tap your profile picture and select My Channel.

3. Click the Video tab. Then select a video from past broadcasts and tap the share icon.

4. Tap Share To > Copy (iPhone) or Copy Link (Android).

Download video on demand Twitch on iOS

1. Open Safari and visit unTwitch.com.

2. Press and hold the URL field and select Paste to enter the Twitch VOD URL. Then click Submit.

3. Select the download format and resolution, set the start and end time of the video (or leave the default settings unchanged to download the entire video) and click Download Video.

4. Click “Download” in the Safari pop-up window to save the video to iPhone.

5. Open the Safari menu and click Downloads to open the Safari Download Manager.

6. Monitor the progress of the download or tap the magnifying glass icon to open the Downloads folder on iPhone.

Note: unTwtich.com downloads videos in MP4 format by default. If you’re having trouble viewing them in the native Photos app, try using a third-party media player like VLC Player instead.

Download Twitch VOD on Android

1. Open the Google Play Store. Then find and install Video Downloader for Twitch.

2. Paste the Twitch VOD address into the URL field and click Download.

3. Enter a file name. Then specify a start and end time, or leave the default settings as they are to download all videos.

4. Click Download.

5. Monitor the progress of the download and check if the video file exists in the Downloads folder on Android.

Downloading Twitch Videos From Other Channels

Twitch does not condone downloading past video streams from other channels. But if you just want to save the video for offline viewing and don’t intend to re-download it anywhere else, use the following tools to save any Twitch VOD to your computer or mobile device.

PC: Twitch Leecher is an open source Twitch VOD downloader for Windows. Install Twitch Leecher via GitHub and search for on-demand video downloads right from the app itself.

Mac: The most convenient way to download Twitch videos from other channels is to use a web downloader such as unTwitch.com. Simply right-click on the VOD, select “Copy Link Address” and then paste the URL into unTwitch.com to start downloading.
