Before you do anything, close and reopen the Messages app and check the cellular signal strength on your iPhone’s status bar. If the signal bars are low, you are most likely in an area with poor cell coverage.

Move to a location with better cellular coverage to send and receive messages on iPhone. Also, make sure your iPhone is not in Airplane Mode. Open the iPhone settings menu, turn off Airplane mode and try again.

1. Confirm the Contact Details

Messages may show a “Not Delivered” or “Message Could Not Be Sent” error if the recipient’s contact information (read: phone number) is incorrect. If you’re getting delivery errors when you first message someone, make sure the person’s phone number is correct.

If the number is correct but the message was not delivered, the recipient’s number might be disabled or unreachable. Try contacting the recipient by phone or using an instant messaging service (possibly WhatsApp) to verify the authenticity of the phone number.

2. Check Your Account Balance

SMS messages are not free. Cellular carriers charge standard messaging fees based on sender and recipient location, message length, character limit, etc.

Many carrier networks have local messaging rates that are lower than international rates. Some carriers may even charge you to receive international text messages.

If your messages are not being delivered, please make sure you have enough funds in your account to send text messages. Better yet, sign up for a plan that allows you to send unlimited messages at no additional cost. Contact your cellular service provider for more information on text messaging fees and data plans available in your country.

3. Check iMessage System Status

Server outage is another noteworthy reason for message crashes on iPhone, especially if you are unable to send iMessages. Go to the Apple System Status page and find iMessages in the list of services.

The messaging service is working properly if its status indicator is green. A red or yellow icon means there’s a problem with iMessages. Wait for Apple to restore the service, or contact Apple Support to report the issue.

4. Connect to Cellular Data or Wi-Fi

You need an internet connection to send and receive iMessages and MMS on iOS. If your iPhone can’t send these messages, make sure you’re connected to the Internet via cellular data or Wi-Fi.

5. Close and Reopen Messages

Force quitting a problematic app can sometimes fix problems that cause the app to crash. Close and reopen the Messages app if you can’t send messages despite a stable internet connection, SMS/MMS plan, and strong cellular signal.

6. Enable MMS

MMS messages include media files such as pictures, GIFs, videos, voice memos, and more. If you can’t send or receive cellular media messages, MMS messaging may be disabled on your iPhone. Here’s how to turn the feature back on.

Open the Settings app, select Messages, scroll to the SMS/MMS section, and turn on MMS Messages. You should also turn on the group messaging feature if your carrier supports MMS group messaging.

MMS messaging requires a network connection, so make sure you have an active cellular plan that supports MMS messaging. You may not be able to send or receive MMS messages over a Wi-Fi connection.

Go to Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data and turn on Cellular or Mobile Data.

7. Try the Airplane Mode Trick

You can use Airplane Mode to troubleshoot network issues. Putting your iPhone into and out of Airplane Mode will reset your cellular radio, refresh your cellular connection, and improve your signal strength.

If your iPhone isn’t sending text messages due to poor cellular reception, turning airplane mode on and off may fix the problem.

Open your iPhone’s Control Center and tap the Airplane Mode icon until it turns orange. Wait 5-10 seconds and tap the orange Airplane Mode icon to turn it off and restore cellular coverage.

Wait another 5-10 seconds, open the Messages app and see if you can now send and receive text messages.

8. Update Date & Time Settings

Your iPhone may not send messages if the date, time, and time zone settings are incorrect. Or if these settings don’t match your network’s date and time.

Go to Settings > General > Date & Time and select the Automatic checkbox.

Wait a few seconds for your iPhone to update the date and time settings and try resending the undelivered messages.

9. Re-Insert Your SIM Card

This tool is an effective troubleshooter for poor cellular reception and iOS network errors. Insert the SIM eject tool that came with iPhone into the hole next to the SIM card tray. Use a paper clip or other small, thin object if you can’t find a SIM eject tool.

Remove the SIM card from the SIM tray, wipe the metal surface of the SIM card with a clean, dry cloth, and insert it back into the SIM tray.

This can automatically install carrier settings updates. Skip to the next section if the problem persists.

10. Install Carrier Settings Update

Like iOS updates, carrier settings updates help fix bugs and network issues, improve cellular connectivity, and improve network performance.

Outdated carrier settings may be the reason why your iPhone is not sending text messages. While most carriers automatically push these updates to mobile devices, follow these steps to manually install updates on your iPhone.

Connect iPhone to a cellular or Wi-Fi network, go to Settings > General > About, and wait a few seconds.

A message should appear on the screen if a carrier settings update is available for your iPhone.

11. Restart Your Phone

Performing a device reset can be another simple solution. Press and hold the side button + volume up or down button and move the power off slider to the right.

Or go to Settings > General > Power Off, move the slider to the right, and wait about 15 seconds for your iPhone to turn off completely.

Press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears on the screen to restart your iPhone.

12. Reset Network Settings

Problems with your iPhone’s cellular or network settings can cause messaging errors. Perform a network reset if your iPhone is still not sending text messages.

Note. Resetting the network not only returns the cellular network settings to factory defaults. Other network components such as Wi-Fi (networks and passwords), VPN settings, and Bluetooth connections are also reset.

Open Settings, select General, tap Transfer or reset iPhone, and select Reset.

If your iPhone is running iOS 14 or earlier, go to Settings > General > Reset.

Select Reset Network Settings, enter your iPhone passcode, and select Reset Network Settings at the confirmation prompt to continue.

This will restart your iPhone and reset network settings to factory default.

13. Update or Downgrade Your iPhone

The version of iOS you have on your iPhone often comes with issues that you don’t know about. For example, iOS 14.2 had bugs that prevented iPhone from receiving MMS messages and message notifications. Apple has since fixed the bug in iOS 14.2.1 and iOS 14.3.

If your iPhone is not sending text messages, installing an iOS update might fix the problem. Connect your iPhone to a Wi-Fi network and follow the steps below to install the iOS update.

Go to Settings > General > Software Update to install the latest version of iOS available for your iPhone.

Contact Your Cellular Carrier

How to Send Articles to Kindle From Android.

Whether it’s a free eBook or PDF document, you can easily email files to @ Kindle.com. The files are not yet in ePub format and are less than 16MB in size. However, if you want to send web articles to your Kindle, a few additional steps are required.

On my desktop, I used Tinderizer to send articles to my Kindle. This is pretty simple. Let’s say you find an interesting article that you would like to read later, you can click the Tinderizer bookmarklet button to send it to your Kindle.

Unfortunately, there is no Tinderizer app for Android, and I was unable to find such an option in the official Kindle app for Android. Yes, you can download articles, convert them to PDF, and then email them to @ Kindle.com as an attachment, but that’s too much work. Fortunately, there are several Android apps that automate all of these tasks and send these long articles to your Kindle, formatted and optimized. [if lt IE 9] <! [endif]

Before you can send any documents

You need to set up (and preferably change) your Kindle email address. To do this, on your Android device, go to the Content and Device Management section (or click this link to open the page directly in the Amazon app). Click on the Device tab and you will see your Send to Kindle email address.

I recommend that you change this email address to something memorable, for example, I changed mine to [email protected] To do this, click “Change” next to your device, enter a new email address, and then click “Save” to save your changes.

Make a note of your email address, we will need it later.

Now, let’s check out some apps for submitting articles to Kindle

1. Submit to Kindle

Download Send to Kindle from the Google Play Store and open it.

Click on the hamburger menu in the upper left corner and under Kindle Email, add the email address you provided earlier and click Save Data.

Now open your web browser, find the article you want to send to your Kindle, click the Share icon in the app.

Select the Send to Kindle icon from the list.

This will launch the Send to Kindle app again, but this time it will open with the theme you just shared. If you can submit one or more articles, make sure that all articles you want to submit are checked, and then click the yellow plane, such as the Share icon, on the left side of each article.

Here comes the bummer. Instead of sharing directly in order to rekindle, this app will launch the email application and you have to hit the submit button again. Just make sure you send the email from the same email account you used on your registered Kindle device.

2. Click on Kindle with FiveFilters

Push to Kindle is the best version of the previous one. Unlike the previous application, there is no need to start the mail application as it uses its own mail server. However, this convenience costs $ 3.

Once you’ve got everything set up, it works in three easy steps. Find the article you want to send to your Kindle, click the Share button, and select Click on Kindle from the list of available options. And it’s all. Wait a few seconds and the article will magically appear in my Kindle library.

To get started, simply open the app and paste your Kindle email address.

You will then see a different email address in the Send From section, such as [email protected] Before you can send any documents using this app, you need to add “[email protected]” as your personal email address in your Amazon settings. This will ensure that not everyone who has your Kindle email address can spam your Kindle feed.

Confirm Sender Email Address

1. Visit the Content & Device Management page (or click this link to open the page directly in the Amazon app).

2. Go to Personal Document Settings under Content and Device Management.

3. In the Personal Document Approved Email List section, click Add New Approved Email Address.

4. Enter your verification email and select Add Address.

And it’s all. Now go back to the app and check again that you have added the correct email address. After confirmation click on done. You can now send most articles on the Internet directly to your Kindle. Simply open the article in any web browser, click on the three vertical dots to open the sharing menu, and select “Click on Kindle” from the list. The app will take care of everything from here. The article will magically appear on your Kindle in a few seconds.

In general, this works for most of the articles we’ve tested, but not all. Luckily, the developer allows you to test the service before spending your money.

Delete Kindle articles

You can delete articles one by one from your Kindle, or if there are many, you can also do this from your computer or Android. Just follow this link to the Manage Your Kindle page. Here you will find all the articles that you submit to your @ kindle.com email address. Use the Book Actions button if you want to remove it from your library.

Closing words

These were two ways to send articles from Android smartphone to Kindle. The first application requires additional work as you have to manually open the email application and press the submit button every time you want to submit articles. How to Send WhatsApp Messages Without Saving Contacts.

WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps, you can instantly chat, share media, location and documents. With all these features, WhatsApp would be the perfect app, but there is a small gap in its armor. You cannot send a WhatsApp message to strangers without first saving their contact. I understand that this is a security feature to prevent spam, but if you, like me, often text electricians and plumbers and don’t want to keep your contacts all the time, well, there is a simple workaround. Let’s see how to send WhatsApp without saving contacts on both Android and iOS.

How it works?

WhatsApp offers an API to start a WhatsApp stream even if it is not saved in your contacts. The method works, but you must first open a web browser, enter the URL, add a number to the end of the URL, and then click Go. The page prompts you to open the WhatsApp application. This is a simple method, but you still need to follow a couple of steps. We can automate these one-touch steps using Siri shortcuts on iOS and Firefox on Android.

1. Send WhatsApp without saving the contact on iPhone

Siri Shortcuts is a great addition to iOS that helps automate long and repetitive tasks. You can create your own shortcuts or upload shortcuts created by other users. We will use the Siri shortcut to send WhatsApp without saving the contact.

First things first, you need to install a shortcut in the Siri Shortcuts app. You can click this link to install a shortcut to your iPhone. If you do not live in the United States, simply change the country code in the label as shown in the image below. Go to the Shortcuts app and press the options button in WhatsApp Stream. Change the country code in the text section.

You can bring up a shortcut in several ways: you can tap the shortcut in an app, add it to your home screen, or ask Siri to do it for you.

To add a shortcut to your home screen, open the Shortcuts app, tap the options button (three dots) on the shortcut, and tap Share. Select “Add to Home Screen” and you’re done.

Siri can launch shortcuts for you, making the process completely self-contained. You don’t even have to press a button and just use your voice to call Siri.

To add Siri commands, open the Siri Shortcuts app and tap the three dots. Click the control center button in the upper right corner and select Add to Siri.

The phrase can be anything, press the record button, say the phrase and press Done. Your shortcut is now ready and you can launch it using Siri.

To see this in action, call Siri, say the phrase to launch the shortcut, enter the number, and start texting in the WhatsApp thread.

2. Send WhatsApp without saving the contact on Android

There are many more ways to send WhatsApp without saving a contact, and you can certainly use the app for that. I don’t like these apps because of unnecessary bloat and I can still do it with just a mobile browser. This method only requires a little Javascript.

You can write a small javascript program that will ask your web browser for a number and then parse the numbers through the API to initiate a stream. Or download the HTML file I created by clicking the link in Google Drive, or use the link to the mirror.

After the web page has loaded, extract the HTML file and open it in Firefox.

Go to your Android phone and open the file in Mozilla Firefox. The page works in any browser, but only Firefox allows you to add a shortcut to your home screen. The invitation will ask you to enter a number, cancel it, click the options button in the upper right corner, and bookmark the page.

Your bookmark has been created. Now go to your bookmarks folder again, press and hold the bookmark you just created to open the dialog box. Click “Change” and rename the bookmark here.

Press and hold the bookmark again and select Add Page Shortcut. This will create a shortcut to your home screen. Place it anywhere on your home screen.

To send WhatsApp, tap the shortcut on the home screen and enter the number. So now you can WhatsApp for anyone without having to save their contact on your phone.

When entering contact information, be sure to add the country code (no + sign) before the contact number.
