1. Force restart

3. Check your network settings

9. Reset iMessage

If an update is available for carrier settings, you will see it on the same screen. If you want to manually update your carrier’s settings, there is no direct way, but there is a hack. Insert a new SIM card that is registered with a different carrier than the one you are currently using. You will be prompted to set new carrier settings, which will be sent via SMS. After the update, remove the SIM and reinsert the old SIM, forcing your iPhone to reinstall the original carrier settings again.
